Over the past few days, Groot Melkhuis transformed into a true winter wonderland. The water in front of the restaurant froze over, the Vondelpark was covered in a thick layer of snow, and the cutest snowmen spontaneously appeared at our doorstep. People came together to enjoy the wintery atmosphere, creating an almost fairytale-like scene.
At Groot Melkhuis, we offer rotating weekend specials, available on Saturdays and Sundays. Freshly prepared in our kitchen and perfect to share as a lunch for two or enjoy all by yourself if you’re feeling extra hungry. The special changes regularly. Currently on the menu: half a free-range chicken with homemade applesauce and fries with mayonnaise.
