Located in the heart of the Vondelpark, Groot Melkhuis is home to the largest terrace in Amsterdam. It’s the perfect place to gather for drinks, dinner or a celebration, whether you’re planning something intimate or a large event. From birthdays and company parties to weddings, we’re happy to help you plan your event at our unique and welcoming venue.
At Groot Melkhuis, you can count on:

- Reserving part of the terrace or hiring the entire terrace exclusively

Whether you’re organising company drinks, a summer party, an end-of-year celebration, a birthday, anniversary or wedding, we’ll create a relaxed setting where everyone feels welcome. There’s plenty of room indoors too. Want to end the evening with a party? We have space for a DJ and a dance floor. Planning to have some dinner? Choose from a shared dining menu, a set menu or, from April through September, enjoy our freshly made wood-fired pizzas.
