How to get to Groot Melkhuis?

By public transport

Groot Melkhuis is easily accessible from various locations, including Van Baerlestraat, Overtoom, Museumplein, and Amstelveenseweg. You can conveniently take tram lines 1, 2, 3, 5, and 12 to get here. It’s just a 5-15 minute walk from these tram stops.

By car

Parking within the Vondelpark itself is not permitted. There are parking options available around its perimeter. If you choose to park along the perimeter of the park, it’s just a 5-minute walk to reach Groot Melkhuis. Please note that parking in Amsterdam can be expensive.

In a wheelchair

Groot Melkhuis is wheelchair friendly. With lower doorsteps and adapted passages, you’ll be able to move around freely at the terrace and in our Grand Café. There is a large disabled bathroom. Questions? Ask us via the contact form.
